Royal Garden City — Bangalore

A 3,000–6,000 acre sub-city between downtown Bangalore and the new International Airport — the first modern Smart City in India, master-planned by Singapore's CPG Corporation.

Royal Garden City Bangalore is RIRIC's flagship — a fully web-enabled smart city situated on 3,000 acres (expandable to 6,000) between downtown Bangalore and the Bangalore International Airport. It is the first modern Smart City in India: completely web-enabled, with captive power, modern water and sewage treatment, and advanced water recycling and harvesting integrated end-to-end.

Phase I is a US $8.97 billion integrated Live/Work/Play development comprising 35,000 residential units, a Central Business District, an industrial district, parks, restaurants, education and civic amenities. At full build, the city is master-planned at 146 million square feet of built-up space — approximately fifteen times the size of Canary Wharf in London.

Master planning and design have been led by the former Singapore Public Works Department (now CPG Corporation), one of the world's most respected new-city planners, responsible for Singapore's national urban fabric.
