The Italian Village is a 1,136-acre couture-designed gated community styled on Tuscany's hill towns — the first vertically integrated golf-resort township of its kind in the sub-continent. It features a Jack Nicklaus Signature PGA Tour golf course, polo grounds, vineyards, a working grappa and limoncello distillery, the seven-star Il Castello hotel, an international academy, piazzas and villas.
Masterplanning and architectural design are by MANICA Architecture. At full completion the development is projected at US$30 billion — sited adjacent to BIAL IT Investment Park and Nandi Hills, north of Bangalore.
